Personal Characteristics of a Teacher

I believe some personal characteristics that a teacher must have are kindness, passion, eagerness, and compassion.

Teachers have to be kind. They have students that come from all walks of life. Some students may have a great life whereas some students may struggle with their day-to-day life. Teachers must also have passion for what they do. Teachers do not have easy jobs. They have to have a true passion for teaching and shaping little minds to be able to be a good teacher. Teachers should also show eagerness to learn and teach. When teachers show their eagerness, it will make their students eager to learn as well. Lastly, I believe teachers must have and show compassion. Teachers should be able to comfort students when times are hard and encourage them that things are okay and will get better.
