    I fully expect to have a very diverse class once I become a teacher. Now a days there are so many races, cultures, religion, ect. seen in schools. When I was in school, there was some diversity but no where near what there is today. As a teacher, I feel that it is very important to get to know your students and where they come from. I think I would start out with easy questions like "What's your favorite color?" or "Do you have any pets at home?". This will help the students open up to me as the teacher but also to their peers. Once you earn that trust, the students will open up without having to ask questions, because they will feel more comfortable. I might would even have them draw a picture of them and their family that way I could get a feel for what their home life looks like. I will also want to tell my students about myself that way they also get to know me and where I come from. This will also help them relax and become more comfortable in the classroom. I want all of my students to feel welcome and happy to be there. 😀
